Implementation of a realistic mathematics learning approach (PMR) and analytical thinking: The impact on students' understanding of mathematical concepts in Indonesia

Understanding of concepts is a fundamental ability to learn mathematics in more meaningful way. one the goals be achieved learning mathematics. This study aims determine impact realistic approach (PMR) and analytical thinking on students' understanding mathematical concepts. experimental research uses posttest-only control design. The population this included students XI Kasui sub-district, Way Kanan district, Lampung, Determination sample using cluster random sampling technique. was 72 (36 class 36 class). Hypothesis testing ancova test. Based results, it can concluded that has an influence by controlling thinking, concepts, there simultaneous between PMR student.
